Jesus is Calling | Will You Answer the Call?

Today's post, titled, "Jesus is Calling, Will You Answer the Call?" is a topic that I've been feeling personally convicted about and one that I believe is timely for all of us. I'd gotten little confirmations previously last week and it was a surprise to find out that the topic of the sermon at church was about following the call as well. The pastor centered his message around Isaiah 6:8, a verse that I came across a few weeks ago that I will be include below. Because of this conviction regarding my calling, I made some confessions in my latest YouTube video and shared my desire to confront what was keeping me from following Jesus wholeheartedly. This post was inspired by a number of responses from many people that would surface in response to current events that have been occurring in the world as well as my own feelings of disappointment despite having scriptural guidance. In the Bible, Jesus warns us that there'd be many troubles in the world and he instructs us to take heart because He has already overcome the world. For a Christian that truth can be reassuring when we meditate on it and put our hope in the faithfulness of God. Even so, it made me wonder how those who don't believe are coping and what we should be doing as Christians with the time and the knowledge that we have.
